UPCOMING ISSUE THEMES

Fall 2010: Violence (Tentative submission deadline: June 21, 2010)

An investigation into how arts, and arts policy intermingle with war, the military, criminal justice, domestic violence, violent artistic breaks from past trends, and other violence tropes.

PLEASE NOTE: Although each issue is framed by a theme, we accept any content at the intersection of arts and politics, irregardless of theme. We encourage all submissions, especially those that underscore pressing arts political issues, at any time.

Our audience. Each issue is constructed so that policymakers, artists, scholars, activists, thoughtful consumers, and curious members of our global society can engage intelligently, and solve problems at the intersection of arts and politics.

Our contributors. If you are an emerging leader in the arts, a policymaker, a scholar, an artist, an activist, or voice with a strong idea, we want to hear from you!  We are currently accepting submissions for our print-and-online Fall 2009 issue, and for our online magazine.
